I have found that having arcades on your site brings in a lot of teen traffic. Why? Because people love playing games. I have played arcade games on other websites before when I was a kid and when I was able to make my own websites, I gave arcades a try. Earlier today I went to visit a new forum I found on the net. It looked interesting even though it was dead. I found the administrator’s account and I decided to check out some of his posts. It seems that every thread he opened, he stickied it in that board. How retarded is that? Just because he was the admin, he stickied all his posts, even posts that didn’t fit or make any sense.

Well earlier today, I finally finalized my wordpress theme and titled it GF Brown. Took out the letters W and P from there since I saw no point in having them there anymore. It was the fourth time I have modified it so it is GF Brown version 1.4. I doubt I will edit it any further.

cPanel is the world’s leading website management control panel and I use cPanel with all my hosts. It is actually my preferred control panel and I try not to go anywhere else. I do have a server at home and I probably will want to sell some host space out to others to help me pay for my server issues so I have been looking at cPanel.

Well today I was taking a backup of one of my other blogs and I was really shocked when I downloaded it. At first I thought I had so many posts, my database was a whopping 5 megabytes in size. I know 5 megabytes isn’t that much for a website, but for a blog with under a 1,000 posts, it’s huge. So I just played along until I decided to download each database table one by one.

Most bulletin board or forum softwares allows the administrator to set up more than one theme for his users. And trust me when I say this, take advantage of that feature because your users will love it. If you make the whole forum look dull with the same colors from day one to day 365 then your users can get bored looking at it. Giving them options brings colors and makes your users want to come back just to see the different styles you have up.

As I predicted, Google is back to re-indexing all the pages it has de-indexed the past week. My forum had over 25,000 pages indexed just over a week ago. Then one day dropped to 16,000 and I was just SHOCKED. Losing 9,000 pages from a search engine over night is killer and can give you a heart attack. Then a few days later it dropped to 14,000 and then finally to 13,000 and that’s when I started worrying a whole lot about what will happen. I was worried because my SERPs or Search Engine Rank Positions were also dropping by not 1 but a few keywords dropped as much as 10. Wouldn’t you be scared if it seemed google was hating your website?

Well it is the holiday season and it is when the internet is filled with the most spammers. These guys with no lives go around blogs, forums, and other websites just commenting and posting total crap in hopes to get some sales. Mostly porn spammers these days can be found. This blog gets a hundred or so new spam posts daily all full of crap. So ’tis the season to be spammy is the song sung by all these hopeless idiots.

Earlier today the vBulletin staff has announced its official release of the third beta version of their newest vbulletin software of 3.7. It has been in beta for the past month or so and so far it is still unstable and they have even advised all members NOT to upgrade their current stable version of vbulletin to this beta 3 version of vB 3.7.

If you want to succeed in the internet world with lots of visitors and dedicated members, just make sure you have a good enough server to support all those visitors and members without slowing up too much. I learned the hard way by trying to go cheap a few weeks ago and it cost me dearly with downtime and just the server acting slow. Make sure the server can actually take the load of your site without any problem.

Then came the number of indexed pages in Google. A week ago it has been massively de-indexing pages from websites for no reason.
