I posted about my new aquarium a few days ago and about 2 days ago I went back to Petland Discount to get more fish. The manager there insisted that the water temperature be between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit and I said OK, it will be between that. Then he said I should get a water heater just to make sure it gets between those temps.
I bought a water heater for $25 and along with that I bought a thermometer for underwater usage for $3. So I come home and install the thermometer first and leave it on for a few hours. I go back and check, the temperature is at 80 degrees flat. I thought it was broken or something so I tested it out with different temperature water and it worked well. So the next day I went and returned the thing without even opening it from the packet. I wasted time by doing both but that’s when I bought the new parakeet.
